Coon Hunt 11/26/2008

Post by hemihound0713 »

Went out hunting last night. Got 3 treed in a little tree right over the water. Shot one out. Hit the water. Dogs jumped in killed. It sank. Cracker my sister dogs swam down river found it. Was treeing under water funniest noise i ever heard. Hemi, bro and cracker got it and were locked on. Alex had to shimmy down and get it. Then silver and razor came a runnin. Got hemi, silver and razor on a leash. Had to fall and lie down so they wouldn't pull me in. Lost my glassed and hat. Finally got the dogs out. Found my glasses and hat. They did a good job. Here are the pics.

Coon Hunting.

Post by hemihound0713 »

We went out in the morning on saturday, had a deer race. Chased the 2 young dogs around for awhile. Went home for a bit. Some of our other friends wanted to go, so we went out again at night. Treed 6 coons. Was to foggy and pictures wouldnt turn out. My younger sister and dad went hunting with the old timer who taught us to hunt yesterday and they caught a bear. Was bout' 175lbs. Got a few pics when they got home.

You wont have to wish too hard. It supposed to start snowing Saturday.

I'm as excited as anyone for the snow to hit, to do a little Cat hunting in my front yard. But I also have to live in it, even when I'm not hunting! Hopefully it's just enough to have fun in. And then goes away!
