Well mine are just Lipper. They don't have any other line of House breeding in them. Just Lipper, and whats behind him. Mine are actually pretty watered down, as they have more Stylish Lipper than anything. Not sure if I prefer the Stylish Lipper blood as much. I think that's where those "Lipper Idiots" come from that Travis spoke of. Dogs with old Lipper up close are super rig dogs though. I'll give them that!

You then are not referring to GRNITECH GRCH House's Lipper then, just a dog called Lipper.

My dogs all have House's Lipper in them through Stylish Lipper. I just don't consider them House bred.
My Female has House's Lipper 3 times in her forth. Stylish Lipper twice in her third.
Her pup I have here has House's Lipper 4x in 4 gen.
I plan on crossing her to a dog making the pups have House's Lipper 5 or 6 times in a 5 gen. That might sound like a lot, but I do believe thy have Bozo in there that many times as wll. Even River Bend Flag 2x in a 6 gen.
Here's a link to what the pedigree will look like on the pups

#1 Cassandra if your dogs are 5 times Houses Lipper in four generations, they are "House bred"! #2 The Stylish Lipper pups that I have been around take the "Lipper idiot" problem and minimize it,by putting old Lipper back one more generation where in my humble opinion he needs to be.Redwood Coonhounds wrote:Well mine are just Lipper. The reason I hunt this blood is a quote a friend gave me,"Your either making dust or your eating it."

That's exactly what I said above, they are House bred, no denying it.

i had a couple young dogs directly out of lipper-
one was one of best young dogs ive ever had-
havent seen many better than her at 2-3 times her age
short carreer , killed by a bear in a hole her first season - cold trail ,rig, hard ,loud tree dog- tree an easy bear alone -rig to tree when just started -she was just a classy dog in everyway even looks -
another one from , different female , left a walking bear to run a deer and he didnt make it back home -i was plenty sick of him before that
think he was the definition of lipper idiot- had never heard that term then - lol
i thought he was bear whipped ,maybe he was just retarded lol
it really interesting to me now to hear that term used -lol ---my buddy had a full brother to him-he kept him a looooooonnnngggg time--
- im pretty sure had a brain problem
- my buddy saw him cross the road-- with a branch stuck on his face- big leaves , - he couldnt see- bawling every breath --
i saw him cross the next trail -he had got way behind , it was still there--
thats something ive only seen happen one time - it could only happen to that dog ---
had another dog that didnt have lipper close but so much lipper in pedigree, i use to joke that he had more lipper than lipper -lol
lipper was his grandfather or great grandfather many times
one of my all time favorites- a very good dog in all departments-
wasnt the fastest or grittiest or best at anything - but close .
he would tree alot of bear alone- rig to tree -one of easiest ive ever owned to keep straight- - very hard to fault him -
was a little bit of a late starter -i think thats because of when he was born -- too young first season- too old the next
id have given him away at 14 months or so-- a month later , NOT FOR SALE
i cant really make a statement--- house dogs are great or house dogs suck ,
ive had both from very similiar bloodlines -
