some good lion pics

Post by pat_kemp »

Here are a couple lions that i phave put up over the christmas break already. I also caught a pretty good female but i forgot the freaking camera. The first one was just a little tom maybe a year and a half old. cut his track at about 10:30 and thought well might as well run it and iam not even kidding i turned out a couple dogs walked back to the truck and before i got the other two collared up and turned out they had sucker caught. didnt think i was going to catch him that late in the day or at least cold trail for a while.

And this one is the biggest cat that i have put up this year. hes about a 5 to 6 year old tom a really good tom.

In this first pic the lion and my dogs are about dead center of the pic in the middle of the ledge

Awesome pics!!! That bayin those lions up on a cliff like that........ :o I can't imagine the excitement! If that doesnt get your pulse going you must be dead!
The fascination of hunting cougar with hounds lies in the discovery and unravelling of a complicated trail, watching an honest hound strike out on a track that has been found and read, and finally bringing the animal to bay so that you can see it for yourself---Jerry A. Lewis
