UnBiased opinion? Well good luck finding one. Some say he's full of it and some say he's a pretty descent guy. I never met or spoke with him, so I can't say, but If I wanted to know more about him I would take Mike's advice and call him and ask him for references.

i met a pretty well known lion hunter in san simon arizona a few years ago,i cant think of his name but he used to write stories in full cry,he told me weldon was the real deal ,hunts horseback and foot year round in some brutal country on some reservation in az and catches regular

Well if I had intrest in weldons dogs I just might, but since I don't what good would that do. I'm no ones rep. I think in his original post if he wanted to talk direct to the guy, maybe his first post would have been more like "does anyone have weldon hopmans ph. # or how to contact him"
