New to site need help

Post by Harvick29 »

Just last week I went out to load up and found that my female walker (Dixie) had died during the night. That wouldn't of been so bad but I live in town and I can only have two dogs and my other one is a pup. I hunt lions only and this dog was the best cat dog I had ever owned. I could hunt her on dry ground or in snow and she did great. I loved her temperment and the fact that I could turn her out and let her hunt and if there was a cat around she would find it and if there wasn't she would come back with no crap races. So my question is was it the breeding or the way I raised her. When she was young I didn't turn her on a track that she couldn't catch as she got older I got allot more liberal in turning her out. Since I only have room for one dog I need to be very carfull of what I end up with. She had allot of a Daniels line on her Dads side with some Finley river dan and some Banjo on both sides. Does anybody know where I can find any of this line? I think with lookling at her papers its more of the Daniels (Duke,Dumb Dog,Jolly,Big Dot,Dot III) that is all the Daniels on her papers. If somebody could help that would be great. Caught a cat with my pup but really missing the old sted fast.

Thanks For the Help
