JOHNSONS telemetery THE MERLIN 10

i just bought a used tracking system and do not know much about it. the model is a johnsons telemetery the merlin 10. any info, advice or opinions about this system would be greatly appreciated.

i had one for years , worked great--- till i spilled diesel on it --

the tuning is sorta touchy- really pay atention to where your collars come in best----if your off a hair , will cut your range -


they are extremely tough except for the dials and switch on top , sorta exposed -


i broke my channel switch once- nyways ,i used and abused one pretty hard for years -

Hey Pete, how did you spill diesel on it ? I always thought they ran off batteries ?
