Mike, hay this cat was only half a mile from where i killed that big tom in 2001 same canyon. he was with a female in there.

Yep that made me think of our late friend Lynell Baird who was with you I beleive on the first tom. We laid him to rest several months ago, he had been following the hounds for nearly 60 years and never lost the love and excitment for the chase. I was honered to be able to speak at his funeral and sing a song for him that I wrote especially for him. It was a standing room only crowd of hundreds of cowboys and hunters. There was saddles, lion hides and elk antlers with lots of hunting and roping photos up by his casket. I thought it was a very fitting celebration for such a fine guy. I think the only thing that he might have liked better was if it was on top of a mountain with his hounds bawling in the canyon.........
