I got my first kemmers right after christmas 1999. they were 2 littermate females that had Striker about every other bracket on their papers
I have 1 female kemmer on my place, sold one last year to a guy down near oakdale for hog hunting, a good buddy of mine raises some fine kemmers in boulder creek, ca.
he hunts his on hogs mostly, catches a few bobcats, and brings them north for bear. very versitile great nose, tons of grit.
I have crossed them to a few different breeds, but I think Robert Kemmer did a good job allready. other than adding a little more mouth on track I liked my straight breed kemmers more than any of the crosses I have made.
Of course there are some extreme variations (size, grit, big game or squirrel) within the lines of different kemmers & Mt curs. I prefer dogs with some striker blood, for big game
I have mostly blackmouths myself, but its hard to top a well breed big game kemmer for getting the meat. they just as soon catch it on the ground as put it up a tree.
Good luck.
Bob.

I know a guy from CA he was Jplummee on the old tree. He has a kemmer or two and a streak breed dog. He hunts bobcat and grey fox.

What in the world are you trying to do Billy?????

Ryan Admundson who used to be on here had 2 or 3 Kemmers that he got from Jason Bickford (Biggun) from Tennessee. Jason went by Sourwood on here.

He was just totally awestruck on their abilities to catch Hogs.

Ryan was living in Anderson. He's since moved and I have no # for him. Boar Hunter do you know him? If so do you have a # for him?
If so, could you PM it to me? Also have him call me.

Thanks!

Take it easy!

Yeah, I got one from Rudy. He is a real good acting little black male. How are your pup's doing? Dan said he's getting one, I'm glad some of that blood is migrating East. It might come in handy.
