one night we were looking for a dog or two early in bear season and another houndsman was coming towards us. we stopped and introduced ourselves. he told us he was looking for his dogs in the same canyon we were in and said that his dogs had been baying this bear for almost a week and one by one his dogs were quiting. well i guess this isn't really a joke but i thought it was pretty funny he thought his dogs were still running the bear.
