my last thoughts for everyone. if your just getting in to hunting with dogs. find some old timer that catch lots and lots of game and try to tag along as much as possible. when he has pups do what ever you have to, to get one or two. having good blooded dogs is the key to being successful. papers don't catch game so don't worry if there registered or not. last but not least. all this fussin with cages and drags brings a whole crap load of bad habits a dog can acquire. waite till there a year old or so and turn them in on good tracks with older dogs. if there good blooded dogs thell make it. thats the way it is plain and simple.
well to all those i have pissed off on this forum. oops- wasn't the first time i got on someones nerves and won't be the last. what you do with your comments towards me will yet to be seen this year during the season. i gave my location and what i look like. it will be your call.
well good luck hunting and thanks big game houndsman for having this site.

Brush stomper, I have to agree with you about catching game ,your right, I think if you have to used caged trainers and drags then hounds people are feeding are not that great. That being said I think alot of people comp hunt and this training is probably neccessary. Just because someone pays $2000 for a started hound does not make them stupid. I believe they have wieghed the options and think this is the best way to go. To each his own. Personally my dogs better be catching game alone at a year not starting to hunt. I think at 1 year the hound should be able to finish off a relatively hot track in most conditions. Anyway go catch a few bears and be nice out in the feild, this arguing and fighting does nothing for the sport.

Now that's some of THE WORST advice, crap, and opinion that has been printed on any site.

There has been "good blooded" culls around longer than "brush stomper"

BEWARE OF THE HUNTER THAT HAS NEVER HAS A CULL!

your moma should of culled you out. obvously not every dog is going to be good. i meant good blooded dogs go because its it them to run. what they end up like in a couple years is meant to be seen. plus the guy i learn from has caught thousands of bears and fox so i am sure thats alot more than you have and all your friends put together. so if thats that worst advice crap or opinion that has ever been printed then whos the cull.

What in the hell does the guy your learned from have to do with you talking crap on the internet? Didn't know I said anything about him, just you. But if he's the hunter you claim he is, he'll think your post was stupid too.
I admire someone that takes the handicapped hunting, like he's done for you, it's not his fault you will never learn, it's just his fault you keep finding your way back out of the woods!

And the guy I learned froms best friends cousin on the far side of the family twice removed, had a uncle in law who's stepbrother learned from a guy that caught more than you or your friends, and my dad can beat up your dad too. LMAO, grow up cull.
