Well I would say that would be a smart plott to keep his distance on a long claw. If he was a hair puller the camera would have been lying on the ground like that last clip in the blair witch movie

What the Swedes use is something like this:
First you need a west or harness like the one on the link below. The top pocket is for the gps transmitter to their tracking devise. Then they make a pocket on the side for the camera. Angle and position, back and forth, are the main challenges. Trial and error is the way to go I guess...

Then you put a camera like this one in the pocket, put it on the hound and off you go.
