My one and only

Post by houndcrzy »

This is my first and only hound so far. He's 3 years old and has been on about 10 lions. He hasnt been hunted as much as he should have by this age I know, but he was generously given to me by a man thats teaching me to hunt lions. He probly wont make a lead dog but I work with him and treat him like he's going to be. I have a finished lion dog lined up to buy, were just waiting to trial her. Im hoping she'll be able to help me and this hound get our start. I have hunted two years with the guy thats teaching me, and now were gonna be out on our own! Just wanted to show off a few pics. I also wanted to add that since I have found this site the amount i've learned is astronomical! Im adddicted to it! Hope all you experienced houndsmen keep all the great advice and storys coming! Sorry for all the rambling, comments welcome!
Thanks!

It would be pretty hard to say it won't make a lead dog with only 10 cats under its belt. You may be surprized one day when you turn loose and its the only dog at the tree  Have patience and keep working with it.
