first muzzleloader buck...

spotted this guy at about 200 yards worked towards us perty slow, had my dad wait behind and stalked down to about 60 yard and dumped him. I was pretty excited seein as how it was my first muzzleloader buck, and my first buck bigger than a forky lol. just thought I would brag alil bit.

by the way yes that is my 2006 shadtree BBQ hat, its kinda my lucky hat lol.

good job Josh. Is that a mulie? Not familiar at all about nevada deer and whether you have mulies, coues or blacktail.
As for the hat looks like we need to get ya a new one, I might have one or two left from Nevada if not I know I left a few with Mike.

lol thanks Scott, and yes he is a muley, its the only deer we have in Nevada, it was a pretty exciteing hunt, and I am rally proud of him. I am pretty sure he is gonna score at least 150. I entered that big buck contest at the watering hole(one of the local bars) and I think I might have a chance of winning something this year lol.I will have to talk to somebody about getting another hat though, that one has deffinetly seen better days, I took it on my little sisters first hunt last year when she got her first buck and it has seen three other deer and alot of coyotes and badgers since then.

the fact you took that buck with a traditional muzzleloader is the impressive part of that hunt :wink:

lol thanks I actually traded my inline for that because it was too new, I cant even shoot a compund bow. I hae a recurve and a long bow. Hopefully I will get one with that next year.
