Well, nothing to report C.John. We made two big rounds and did not hit a track.
Shorty pulled a John Wayne on a big rattler drew and fired from the hip off of horseback.
LOL We had a hell of a good time and look forward to trying it again soon!!!
PS we had no sizzoring races so the dogs did good!! LOL
Shorty is a fine man to hunt with and I really thank him for the opportunity to spend time with him and his fine family!! I know what they mean by the extra longs!!!! LOL
Tell them it was really cold down there this time of year! LOL

So glad you all suffered No Frost bite.
I find it hard to believe yall ran into a Rattlesnake down there, must have been a historic event for La Salle County!
If no Sissoring Race you had a successful trip!
Went swimming yesterday afternoon about three (too damn hot for anything else) in the Blue hole on the creek other side of the Mountain. Took Dad along to read his book and just hang out. Driving down the back road and a Bobcat comes up out of the River, gives the French Salute, and goes up the Mountain. Too hot to get the Hounds only 101!
