utchmen line?

Post by nmplott »

I just purchased a pup out of an utchmen female. I was wondering what information is available about this particular strain of dogs.

I got the pup because of the sire. I did some research on the sire and he was what I was looking for. I have heard a lot of the utchmen name.... not any specifics as to what goals they have for thier breeding program or any thing else but people who have utchmen in the pedigrees seem to make sure everyone knows.

Uchtman Dogs

Post by Rockcreek »

Call Wilbur or Doyle and talk with them. They are both really good dudes and do love to tell folks about their dogs. They have been at them blue dogs for a long time and sure have got something going if you ask me. If you need their #'s let me know. Take care.

Ps... you say their last name like "Ucktman" not "Utchmen"

Utchman hound for sale.

Post by downpeta »

I bought an Utchman pup from the Doyles up in Oklahoma. He was born in November of 2004 and doing good. I just didn't know any houndsmen to hunt with here in NM when I got him. He should've been hunted earlier, but is coming on strong. He is not a lead hound, but can get the job done. He has made it to every bear tree this year and has put two bear up on his own and held them up for more than an hour until we made the tree. He hates coon also!

He is for sale if anyone is interested. I need the cash at the moment. $500
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth then Bluetick hounds.
