Amonty,

That's what I was thinking looks like Lujan for sure. That picture must have been taken in the north part of Texas maybe near Cuba. LOL!

I believe it was near Sanderson, Tx. There is a story on the hunt in Fullcry. I think they called the article Hunting On The Moon.

Yea, Lloyd is a great houndsmen, teacher and friend, he has an excellent training program and some great dogs to boost. I picked up a nice 9 month old plott female from him and she really excelled this past winter on lion. Anyone interested in some well trained dogs give him a call...

Boots, you are right, I think they are out of his juno dog. This little female turned out great, I worked(training) with him on the litter on numerous occasions. I was planning on picking up a couple, I ended up getting a female, Sock she is a baying fool, I turned out on her first lion with 2 other dogs and took to it like a natural. The other dog was buddy I think he ended up in Wyoming. I should have jumped on both of them when I had the chance. Lloyd definitely knows his dogs. I am very happy with what I got and would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy pups or started dogs.

Amonty just spoke with Lloyd last week that pup is out of my female. She is a well breed plott the original blood line I picked up 4 pups in spring 2006 from an 80 yr old man in NC threw my father in law people in town were so hot that i got those pups they still talk about it today that line goes way back they didn't even have papers that's how old the line is that it doesn't matter they are strictly big game and we have that only line now.I crossed to his male because he was very worthy of it.Did you get the one with white 2 front feet. That one was just like its mom if you did.If you ever want to put some more of what i got into that line I have a male that is the mom's brother.Ask Lloyd about him his name is Lead.

oh yeah thats some blood line it goes way back to the original stuff and that's no lie. There was 4 pups only one didn't make the cut for big game. The dog was to aggressive at the tree pulling others off so he had to go.
