line of blue ticks for bear

where would i go to find a strain of bear eatin blue tick. i am in need of a new pup and want some opinions. i know everybody is going to say cameron but i trully believe there are others breeding a better dog than him. not saying they are not good hounds. anyways any help would be appreciated.

Can't go wrong with an Upson bred Bluetick or a well bred Buzz Anderson Blue.

I will be having litter of blue pups here in few months, pups will be cameron/hurricane crosses. located in N Utah.
They have done well on bear for me.

floyd, that cameron hurricane cross sounds familiar, do you hunt with chris quintana from up in your parts? i just picked up a pup from him that has some of that cross in it... you wouldnt happed to have a little older pup ready to start would you?

I do hunt with Quintana, he used my male for a stud dog for his bloodhound cross pups.
Did we meet up with you in price?
I will hopefully be making the cross that produced my stud dog here this week.
They seem to do great with the bear, I have watched them take some punishment and go back for more.

I know a guy in Utah county with blueticks that are bear catching machines but you generally have to be "in the circle" to get your hands on one. Either that or have a really fat check book!!

Shoot me a PM and I can get you a phone number, not sure if he'd have any dogs for sale or not. I'm guessing not at this point. Maybe down the road at some point. You could at least get in line.

But I have some video of his dogs in action and I think it would make your decision pretty easy.

I wish those blue dogs were in my backyard instead of his. Forget Cameron's dude, you don't need to look outside of Utah for bear dogs. If it's urgent, I can't help you. If you are looking down the road a bit shoot me a PM.
