i have a friend thinking of buying a finished hound from him, i believe he is an outfitter in grand junction co. just curious if any body was famililar with his dogs? i would hate for a guy to get took...

Jeff Hopkins dogs are top notch, I have personally seen them in action, and can put you in touch with several others. Stay hard, all day bay dogs. And they do well on lions, so let me know if you need anymore info.

I've been around two of them and they seem to do find on bear but they were not cold nose dogs

Jeffs Dogs are the route I am looking to go for the all around Big Game Dog, Jeff and Brandon hunt hard. They were camped in East this spring and did very well, caught 2 mean bears down in the brush, and held them tight. Jeff is a good guy, and will tell you how it really is.
