I actually Live up in the White MOuntains at an elevation of 8000 ft. So we just about have snowpack from end of november to mid april in a good year with snows near every weeek. I hunt most mountain locations around the state that get snow which is alot.

dzell I have hunted the rim in the winter to search for tracks. I use a snowmobile because when it snows there it SNows and the rim has tons of cougars. Dzell also granite peak, mingus mountain, mount Union and HUalapai Peak are all good area for mountain lions also. There is usually spotty snow in those areas with the occasional snow in the winter but alot of mud on the roads so you will find tracks
