Why do you need snow? There is a pile of lions in your country Pat, Pipe Creek will have a lion year round, some with crouse canyon. Snow brings out people.

I can remember how great it felt to get that first snow Pat, and then find a nice fresh lion track in the snow and tree it. But as I have gotten older, I hate the heat and prefer the winter to that stuff. However, if I had things my way I'd eliminate the summer and winter and only have springs and falls.........

Not ready for snow here, still chasing the bears but do look forward to the early fall storms before the cold stuff sets in.....

I agree with Dennis I hate the cold and the snow I would much rather hunt the dirt than snow. Way funner trailing and way better for the dogs. But from the lookes of things it will be a wile before I get to do much catching hunting the dirt after I sold all my old good dogs, now all I have is three measly pups to play with but it ought to be fun anyhow. Good luck to you all on your hunts.
