Nikki,
Condolences to you & your family. I only met your Dad once & he really impressed me as a knowlegable houndsman. He had hauled a couple of dogs for me & he ended up taking one of my young dogs back with him. Best wishes to you & your family.

To My friends the Andersons; I send my thoughts prayers and love to all of you I cant imagine how you all
feel, my heart is full. I have had the chance to think and ponder about my idol (in the dog world) Greg
Anderson: What a man he loved his dogs his friends and most importantly his family, he would always let
them know he loved them at every tree. Greg was the first 100% honest houndsman i had ever met,
although rough around the edges he had a heart of gold and i dearly loved him for it, God knows my life
is better for knowin this rough ol hound dogger and his family, always willin to lend a hand or fill up your belly.
I know Greg is havin a reunion like no other with all the greats he trained and huntin harder then ever. Tarry, Nikki,
Andrew, Addi, and Summer, know this life is just the start of eternity and that you all will be reunited with your
husband, father and grandfather and our friend. I hope you all know how much you mean to me I love you all and
cant imagine my life without knowing not only Greg but all of you please dont hesitate for anything I know Greg
would do the same for me and my Family again i love you all Love Hunter (Huntard)!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all.

I posted a reply last night, but we are running off the neighbors WiFi and right now I have two bars.

Reading this last night to my mom and my aunt debbie, I read her some of the longer replies, the main one, was Mike Harri's'. Ray, my mom's exact words after I was finished reading your post was "That is amazing... For someone who barely knew your dad, to sum him up that well, that IS your dad" I could barely read some of them, and that was one of them. You will always be in my heart Ray, you and my dad hit it off, and I know he was looking forward to lion hunting with you this winter, as did I... For someone who has seen as many bear as I have, I have only seen one lion...

Mike Cauley,
That female my dad got from you is the best producing female we have ever had. We love her and she is a jewel. Thank you.

Huntard,
I love you like my brother! Talkin to Petticrew about you made my day sometimes. You are a true friend, and I thank you for everything. I named that little bluetic Cazar (Spanish for Hunt) :)

Thanks for everything,
Nikki

WOW What can I say? What a shocker!! I'm Terribly Sorry to hear of the loss of your Father!! He will truly be missed! I remember coming to your place in Nucla after your Dad brought back from WI for me my Magnum pup. Which when your Dad asked me if there were any more pups of that breeding left, I told him yes. There was the beginning of him and Bloody Bill.

I've talked to Greg a couple of times on the phone within the last year or so. He's been trying to get me to come over there and hunt with those creatures he'd created within the Plott breed. I was really going to try and get over there within this next year.
I surely wish I'd have made it over.

May God strengthen you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Irv,

You are always welcome to come hunt with my husband and I... I may not know every thing my dad did, but he taught me enough for me to know what I am doing. So please know you are always welcome.

Monday or Tuesday will be the Memorial Services in Moab Utah... Please send me a text or give me a call if you would like to come. I will give you details. I will know for sure time and day possibly tomorrow. We will have the "formal" service somewhere in town, afterwards I am going to drag all the hound doggers to the canal camp ground in La Sal and we will build a fire and share stories and have quiet the party, for that is what my dad said.

Thanks for everything and I will let everyone know on a day and everything. Thank you all for the kind words and prayers.

My heart goes out to Greg's family. I met him on the Lasals this summer and was suprised on how fast he made me feel welcome. He was always there to answer my millions of questions and always had good advice. In the little time that I knew him I will never forget how much he has helped me with my dogs. You will be missed Greg. Tyler.

Bency, was this Annie dog a Plott? I know for a fact we did not name her Annie, because we didn't name our dogs stuff like that lol.

Memorial Services for Greg Anderson:

Monday at 2:00 at the Spanish Valley Mortuary in Moab, UT.

Please send me a text or call if you will be attending.

After the "Formal" service we will be heading to camp on the canal and building a fire and throwing a party and telling stories about my dad, that is what he wanted. I hope you all can attend. Weather you knew my dad or not, he would want the hounddogger side of the service room to overpower the relative side!

Thank you all.

Teri, Nikki, Summer

My family and I would like to take this moment and thank you for the positive influence Greg played in our lives. I would also like to express the level of elevation my boys held him at. I can remember the first time (and every other)we showed up at your house and the boys listened and absorbed the wealth of information and hospitality your family showed to us. He will be deeply missed by his friend and family and by the people who have never meet him, I put a little video together us together in the La Sal mountains in 2008 on Bear pursuit season I hope you enjoy it.

I would also like to let you know if there is anything we can do, dont hesitate to call. We love you and your family will always be in our prayers.

Kevin,

Hot Pursuit is one of the hardest videos to watch. The begining with Cabo kills my dad and I. Then the part with dad holding Deeds's mouth shut makes us laugh through the tears. Thank you Kevin :')
