New to big hounds

Hi from Maine.. Just got my first hound. Shes a 2 yr old Plott. A few years ago i wanted to get into big hounds and the Plotts caught my eye.. I have a option to get a 4 yr old male thats started on bear but not really wanting to get a pack going. "Pepper" is going to start her career this winter with some beagles and i hope to get her on to cats this fall. ( i just ordered some cat scent and a training bag) I would really like to meet and chum around with some cat hunters this winter. I am 29 yrs old and been in the woods all my life. I would fallow any dog and being able to bring mine along would be great. thanks ~ shane

hey thanks DJ!! i have a family friend that i will stop in and visit. He as a walker and 2 english for cats.. hopping to get 'peppe' going.. my truck died and been real busy! wish i had more time!! haha cheers!!

hi varabbit hunter.. i don't dont have a beagle yet i hunt with some buddies with theirs. BUT I am getting a puppy from my buds female and male.. I started my plott on rabbits today. she ran good but the conditions sucked.. she wants to hunt and had a super voice.. cant wait for next year!! i am in Livermore Falls..
