Well went out this morning to cut some tracks where a cat had been crossing early in the week but all I saw were bober tracks can't run them yet and it was time to get the kids up for school so well see if I can cut one later today

Re: First day of lion season to day
I did get on of the pups from lck to and so far showing good promises but with the walker pups duke is taking off doing great is treeing coon by him self and is taking bob track and doing well Luke is not doing so hot if he does not show somthing with kittys this year he will not have a place in the pack have you had any luck with yotes yet this year
Re: First day of lion season to day
Not much luck with the yotes this year yet,I messed up and found this site and got facinated with all this talk of dry ground lion hunting,So Ive been pounding the San Rafel desert way too hard,Ive come to two conclusions so far,My dogs arent that good and my training is in need of knowledge
But on the plus side that is a huge amount of ground to hunt on foot, and there is a reason there are only 4 permits in that area, now if I could only explain to the slippery devils that I only want to blastem with a camera maybe they would slow down a bit
Been having a blast though,Did you get that little male with the butterfly on his back??Im anxious for this weekend when bobbers open ,I found a pretty good spot but sure would like a skiff of snow to go with my dry ground tracking abilities...
