Expensive Leason
Well got home from work yesterday with Department of fish and game sitting in my drive way. Seems that another hunter for some reason turned me in for haveing a training racoon in a cage. Now this coon was well taken care of got fed and watered every night and the pups have never layed teeth on the coon. I told him that it was killing my uncles chickens and it was and that I brought him home. And he got me for transporting and keeping a wild small animal, that cost me a brand new, never been used roll cage which he knew about and a 1000.00 dollar fine. I guess I cant trust anyone includeing my fellow hunters.

Re: Expensive Leason
hey ryan, there are those guys all over. its best that you trust who you talk to and share only certain info with. but if you have nothing to hide, talk what you want. but, its all in interpretation, so speak softly. thats what i have learned. then if you have a problem with someone, take it up with them, when the time is right. i have someone i would like to talk to, but he keeps avoiding me. i hope the best for you all up in wash. but, reality is, its all across the US. you NEED TO TRUST someone before you talk! no matter what because theres always a loophole! with that in mind, good luck to you bro.

Re: Expensive Leason
That sounds like an awfully big fine for a pretty minor offense. You ought to get a lawyer and fight it...

Re: Expensive Leason
It could have been worst, It could have been a $2,500 fine and I could of lost all my hounds. He kept telling me I know how all you hound hunters are and how you think, but I do like you guys. He tried to confiscate all my live traps but couldnt prove that they were used in any kind of illegal activeities. He also checked all my out buildings along with my freezer.

Says he likes hound hunters but it sure as hell doesn't sound like he likes hounders!
