A few early this year

I was lucky to see this one. .. I had turned out the dogs on a north facing slope in about 4 in. of snow and a very good track. They ran him up over the first ridge and then the classic bobcat tricks began in the dry. Lucky for me they had him jumped. Two hours later I was sitting at the truck thinking the cat had snuck through the ledge. I was trying to call them down with no luck so I broke out the binoculars. After glassing for about 10 min. I finally saw Mr. Bobcat tucked away on a shelf halfway down the ledge with nowhere to go.
Not the first nor the last time the dogs will make me feel a little foolish.....
Lucky me…..
