Hans,
Been wondering lately how that fine hound of yours is doing ?? Did you ever put the smack down on one of those big browns ?
Hans, what has Pac's been up to ?

Re: Hans, what has Pac's been up to ?
Pacs been having a bit "slower" days for while, since mooseseason has been on. We've been out taking a few badgers, treeing some ferral cats for treeing training and started running just a few fox for stamina training. He's doing good, but has developed a tiny taste for them moose, so I'll be doing some corections in the days to come. Snow came here the night to yeasterday, so I'll be training on cats till season opens 1. of Feb. Thinking about going out tonight after work, cause a friend of mine found a track left by a pretty big cat today, but I'm a bit unsertain since I know the terrain where its most likely laid up.....
Didnt get to kill any browns this season. He did good work and impressed a lot of people. You should have seen him riggin two bears for some of the most reputated bearhunters around here, so they could put their hounds on them. - They never knew them bears were there before my "Howlin minivan"(as they call it) arrived, he he. Havent been pushing to hard either. Pacs got a lot to learn, I've got a lot to learn and I've been using some time and energy to get into possition to get to "learn from the best".
- The question: How to get hold of Majestic's, has already been asked several times....
How 'bout you Stan? How is your Harlee pup maturing?
- Know there is some shared ancestors behind Pacs and Harlee, but I can remeber it right now. Could you refresh my memory?

Re: Hans, what has Pac's been up to ?
Hans......
Great to hear back from you.....
Everytime I think about Pac's......I picture the van cruising down an old logging road with Pac's sitting in your lap.... with the window down.......striking a scent, and blowing up ....rattling your ears..........He is a special hound, that's for sure....I've said it before, but man, I like that hound of yours....
It's great to hear things are going well for you and Pac's.......We gotta get the perfect female over there for you so you could make a deadly combination one of these days.......Them "reputable bear hunters" you talk about would be lining up at your door for a pup... that's for sure.........Sounds to me like Pac's is getting some attention over there.....that's a great thing brother...you have to be so proud of him.....
Pac's is brother to Steve's Queen Kong...they were litter mates.............Queen Kong is Harlee's mother.....This Harlee pup of mine is something special.....Not sure if she'll get quite as big as Queen, but she's growing like a weed.....She's built just like Queen, but a slightly smaller version......Has a head on her just like her pop Red Bear...and has his ferocity....At 6 months, she's really starting to grow up tall, but very solid.....The sky is the limit......
I've only had her out in the big woods a couple times......she free casts out pretty far, and if I call for her, she'll come right back to me.....I keep her in a 2 acre wooded enclosure, and there's plenty fuzzy creatures that pass through to keep her entertained.....but she takes a liking to the couch in the evening....we're watching huntin shows, and she falls asleep with her head in my lap almost every night.......
It's good to see you're taking your time with Pac's.....I am doing the same with Harlee.....I don't want to push her, and I believe their natural ability will shine even more as they mature....
I'm thinking 2010 will be a great year for these hounds of ours....

Re: Hans, what has Pac's been up to ?
Yeah, it dawned on me that she was from the Queen x Red bear, shortly after writing my reply.
Got high hopes for 2010 to Stan. I belive my "duo" could put some hurt on them lynx, so I'm really looking forward to the time to come.
I need some more spitzdog power for the brown bear, so I've been looking for a male to breed my female to and I've found one deep in the Swedish wilderness that suites my demands. Will breed her next July/August and take one or two pups out of the litter. If everything lines up, one of those togheter with Pacs will be a bad ass combination for them brown ones.
Good to hear that Harlee suites you Stan. Keep that thread of hers alive, so we can follow her developing.
