Well yesterday after spending the morning cold trailing an old lion track and eventually losing it to a south slope. I decided to go through a canyon that no one else had been through yet. Made it through the canyon alright but as I was coming down the ridge it was getting pretty drifty. Me with the attitude of my toyota can do anything just kept going. Well soon enough It was a bit more than the ol' war wagon could take and I was stuck. Kind of stuck anyway, Cause I could get her rockin pretty good. When i would get loose We would just dive in again. After the third time of gettin loose I was hauling a@# backwards in four low. Engine revin for all she was worth. Then it happened, a new knockin from under the hood. Well I only had ten feet of virgin snow to get through till I would be where someone (smarter than me) turned around. So i went right after it again.
I didnt make it.
So now i'm STUCK truck aint running right. Time to start walking luckily I only had to walk about a mile where i found a guy workin in a backhoe. If you ever get stuck this is what you want to find
. So he came dug me out then pulled me out. What a deal.
Well today I took my truck to the mechanic and he was full of wonderfull news. He said it would only cost 3,500 dollars to over haul my engine.
But I did find some used engines that would cost half that.
So what I want for Christmas is a job cause my hunting season is almost over.
