absoloutly, put them over the hill. one of the guys i kinda learned from his favorite saying was " they cant learn anything in the box kid, get that dog in there." there is a lot to say for that.

I always try to keep an open mind to what others have to teach me! It helps alot. I do look forward to more advice from you bobcat hunters

Well i took my first crack at running bobcats. My dogs done great took to it like naturals. Sad part it i screwed it up tryin to get to them. I made it less than ten yards from them and was a lil loud and it bailed out. Just caught the dogs cause their feet aint toughened up enough for the snow. But all and all its alot of fun so far

I dissagree. You can hunt a dog on bear for two years and then one day run it on cat and it likes cat better. Some dogs are crazy for cats regardless of what else you run them on.

Some of this is inhereited. I think the real problem is that us bear hunters that run cat a little bit just don't get the dog on enough cats for them to learn the trade.
