do they bark?

im not a coyote runner but if we had the open ground i can sure see where it could be a whale of a good time. just wondering do these dogs bark even when they cant see the coyote? also do you want them to? do they strike them, or open right when they smell one? do you ever cold trail them, or would that be a waste of energy? just trying to get a feel for this style of hunting. the only coyote hunting i have done has been without intention, and if i wasnt so red eyed stomping mad and could have just shrugged my shoulders and enjoyed it they were a hell of a knock down dragout race.

probably some of the best i have ever had.
