I am looking to go on a lion hunt next year and wanted to know if anyone know of guides who are reasonable and get into lions. I have been on a lion hunt in az before and got skunked, so I am looking to try once more at a lion. thanks bob

Need more info Bob. Are you looking for a dry ground, horseback type hunt or a Mountain, snow type hunt. I would look at British Columbia for the largest cats. But most every other western states have good guides also. Just need to know what your looking for.

If you go to NM call Sonny Tapia with dream mountain outfitters, colorado call Van Johnson. In Utah we do pretty good, Cougar Country Outfitters. Contact Bobby Farmer at 970-428-0610 or myself at 970-529-6977.

Utah passed a new outfitter/guide law that went into effect January 1, 2010. I'd recommend that you research what outfitters and guides are permitted before you commit to any lion hunts.........

who did you go with in AZ if you don't mind me asking?

A lot of guys have gotten into "guiding" just because the economy is so bad.
