Plottman55, I can see you have been reading through this section, and that is really about the best thing you can do as far as getting ideas on how to get out there and get it done. When you have specific questions, you can use the search function to help you find threads that have dealt with that topic. Then, you can ask specific questions also, and usually someone will try and tackle it for you. The more specific you can get with your questions, I think, the more helpful the responses will be.
It is hard to answer a question asking for training tips, because that is the topic of many books. We are glad you are diving in. The water is fine, and most importantly, misery loves company.
Good luck and God bless.

Re: ALL BOBCAT HUNTERS
Live trap a wild barn cat and put some Grawes bobcat trainning scent on it. Work the dog on the caged cat to get it fired up and then drag it away and turn it loose. Give it ten minutes and then release the dogs.
Once they learn that cats are game animals then it is just a matter of hunting. If you have to much trouble getting them to work well try a different dog.
