The Sleepers

Do any of you know any sleepers? The reason I asked is there are several people I know that do not sell pups or advertise yet they have some of the best dogs around.
I am sure through out the country there are many like him.
I know of a man that his family has been breeding mixed hounds with cur dogs since Texas was free range. He keeps whole litters, keeps the best and culls the rest. He has no intrest in selling pups and has never done so.
His bottom line is catching game and he is quite successfull.
