Is it legal?

Post by yeager »

New to trapping and considering taking the CA trapping test; however I have a question?
Can we release the varmint once trapped from it's cage and fetch your hounds to pursue the varmint?

I thought this would be quite beneficial when training young hounds, is it legal?
Thx

Yancy makes the best live trap for cat you ever seen,, and met Yancy at a national trappers convention, he has a pardner but for got his name. think he lives near Santa Rosa [Russian River] see you are not allowed to use foot hold traps any more. I am not sure but I think he lives around that Wilcox road.

The main reason people don't like to trap in california are the laws. They don't make it impossible, but they sure do make it expensive to run a trap line leagally

Thats for sure it looks like from what I have found you can trap just about everything out there but can only use live traps.
