looking to buy a toyota

im looking to buy a 93 toy x-cab 5 speed v-6. can any body tell me about this motor, i have had a couple 22-r toys but never a v-6. i heard that the v-6 blows head gaskets a lot is this true.

My buddies 4runner who had the V6, or the 3VZE, and that thing ran to about 310,000 miles before it blew, and it only blew because a buddy of his didnt watch the temp gauge on a hot day and blew it. They are strong engines and have other buddies who run them. His was a 93 4Runner.

Go to toyotanation.com and look on there forums for problems that people might be having with them. There is a lot of good information there thats where i go if i have a problem with mine. My opinion is it is a toyota so it must be good.
