I want to thank Andy, a.k.a. Twist
I just met Andy on here a few days ago and got to talking to him about hunting and his dogs. I just got my first hound, which is only 3 months old and not quite able to catch a lion yet, (hopefully soon, lol). Well Andy told me to call him and when I did he extended the same offer to me as he did Ryan, to let me borrow Scooby. At first it kind of made me hesitant, i figure borrowing a guys hound is like borrowing his girlfriend. Well this morning I drove out to his house with my son and met Andy, after meeting Andy it makes me happy to know there are still guys out there that will help a stranger out just because they can. I read a post asking what state is the best for hound hunting, well we might not be able to run bears and such, but because of Andy and guys like him, I'd say Montana hands down. Again I just want to say thank you very much Andy and I can't wait to visit with you more and pick uour brain.

Re: I want to thank Andy, a.k.a. Twist
Well said guys,I havent had any dealings with "Twist" yet.. but have known "LCK" for a couple years,Sounds like twist is in the same class as wally, without guys like this I think this sport would be doomed,So hats off to all you houndsmen&houndswomen who have the patience to put up with all of our silly questions and lack of knowledge,

Jeremy, glad I could help out it just worked out perfect as mtgriz (Ryan) was at the end of his college break and time for him to head back to school as he had a blast treeing lion with Scoob. It great to meet young guys of your calibur! Glad I could help out. Mic, I dont know if he is worth barrowing

Re: I want to thank Andy, a.k.a. Twist
picked up scoob tonight, got the 4-wheeler loaded and everything packed, gonna head for Ashland at 5 in the morning( I better get to bed). See if we can't find something to let scoob catch even though the conditions are horrible. Hopefully I can put up some pics in the next couple days. Thanks again Andy!

I'm sure he could hang out with one of the girls in her kennel.
