I know that this deer won't make anyone else's record book, but this little 10 year old, on his first deer hunt, was pretty excited. Rick is the one on the right with the broken antlered deer.

My 13 year old son also got his second deer.

My 14 year old son also got his second deer, but for some reason the pictures didn't come out.

Thanks Bill.

You're right, kids that grow up hunting usually don't end up in trouble. I was pretty proud of all three boys. About 3 months ago, I told all three of them that they could not go hunting unless they could shoot 3 shot, 1.5 inch groups from a hunting position. All three of them put in the practice to be able to do it, then all three of them killed there deer with one shot apiece.

Thanks guys,

Fortunately, its pretty easy to keep them in the woods, because they love to go. The hard part is figuring out when to make them stay home so I don't burn them out. I probably err on the side of burning them out, because I sure don't leave them home much. But so far they are loving it and begging for more.
