How long will a lion stay in the area? I have seen the tracks 3 times in 4 days. and today we drove in and 4 hours later drove out and a lion walked about 70 yards on our tracks. so it was out at day on the top??

More then likely probably all depends on if he has a kill in the area or not, or if he has a female in the area he is looking for, and thats only if its a Tom on the female thing.
