Shelton's Hammer Came in 3rd. this Year in the UKC World Coonhunt .. Robert Shelton has never really Hunted Hammer in many Night hunts but last year He desided to Enter the RQE then started winning with Hammer from then on all the way to the Final 4.. Robert was ahead in the final cast but Fate grabed them when Hammer Treed alone on a Tree leaning over a Flooded Creek Sliped off in the Creek and washed down Stream .. Several on the Cast heard Hammer Fall in but said "Nothing" till after the hunt.. Robert had no chose but to Re Strike and Re Tree Hammer after he returned to his treed coon.. The Cast Clamed Hammer had Left his Tree.. This and one other Bad call on Robert and Hammer put Them in 3rd place...
Hammer was the True UKC World Champion !!
Robert says that Hammer just Trees Coon the other Comp. Hounds had no clue was their !!
So I thinking he is carring a Very Cold Nose and Lots of Brains to Boot..
Hammer is going on 9 years old But Looks great and does'nt show his age..
The Combined Weight of this Pair is 192#s They both stand even at 27-1/2" but She looks smaller in the Photo..
They Both Look like "True Hounds" with Great Ear Sets and Sound Great Together..
Pups should be just "Off The Wall" !!!!
