Right on Ike looks like a great Lion!!!
The fascination of hunting cougar with hounds lies in the discovery and unravelling of a complicated trail, watching an honest hound strike out on a track that has been found and read, and finally bringing the animal to bay so that you can see it for yourself---Jerry A. Lewis

Bad to the bone Ike, I have a 5 year old that loves to get in the woods. I can't wait till he can keep up lion hunting and he's old enough to take a cat. Great story and great pics...that's why we do what we do

That's a hell of a nice lion Ike, I am glad that you and your boy had some time together in the hills, above all else there is nothing better than the time we spend with our family, whether at the dinner table at night or an activity we all share, when it's all said and done family is all we have!

Great job on a real trophy!

If a man is lucky he has a son, his health, a great sport, and the money and/or the ability to share a little time in the field together chasing a tom lion. Well, my son took on a couple of pups out of a cross I made last summer and then bought a tag and wanted to do some more hunting with the old man. I don't have to tell any of you that a man has to earn his way on the harvest units, and I'd say we both did our part in making a successful hunt come to an end. I hope each of you have a son or daughter that is willing to follow you around and learn a little something about our sport..........

Well Said Ike,

Definately a trophy in more ways than one, well done
