Monster Cat killed near Wenatchee?

Post by jbc67 »

Did anyone receive an email floating around about a 317 lb longtail killed near Ellensburg/Wenatchee area in Washington? I was forwarded the email today and was wondering if there is any truth to the tale? Not sure that I believe that the cat was that big. If you know anything, please educate me. Here is the image of the cat that was attached to the email. Check out the paws.

The picture to me looks like it might have been digitally enhanced. It just doesn't look right. Besides 317#??? Correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure someone will, but wouldn' that be an all time world record?

Thats a big cat I might believe 217#'s though alot more than 317. doesn't look like a lot of fun getting him out.

I have seen the pic floating around, but the weight was touted as 217, killed in Canada. Who knows what the real story is.

I got the email. I think its a little far fetched myself, but here ya go. I should call the guy. The story goes that these kids found a fresh kill with cat tracks all around it. So they came back another day to check the site they found 3 cats on the kill and shot the biggest one (First Red Light). Thats one big female. Anyhow
