I have one 4yr old 1\2plott 1\4pit 1\4cur that I really like but he is ROUGH and had several close calls this year. If he dont ease up a bit I will be lucky to have him for another year.

Yes, LS , I know what you mean with the close calls. I got a good male catchdog that likes to lay his body along side the cutters instead of along side the body of the hog. His vest has saved him several times, buit I know his luck is going to run out sooner than later. But there aint nothing can be done, that is the way he likes to ride on the ear, and he gets the job done, but I know it aint going to last.
