Here in ID call the game department. They will bring a game trail camera out and get the b#$%@#d on film. It ends all the bull crap! Hope this helps. Its pretty bad when you have to steal from someone to make it work. I'll bet they feel like a real trapper.

Just post a few signs in the area, "Your picture has just been taken, hope you smiled".

I had 2 coyotes stolen of of my traps this year and two others shot and not with a .22. It really sucks that people can't leave other peoples stuff alone. I like the sign idea Dean.

Spooky Ridge, No more than our yotes are worth here in southern NM I would probaly need to try to figure out who it was so I could send them a thank you card. That is if they didn't steal my traps.

I have had em take the coyote out of the trap leave the dead coyote and take the trap. That can be very irritating. Hope you catch who ever it is.

Put your trail cam on the roadway in and get the plate number. You can even put it up in a tree over road. Maybe get a shot of the stolen goods. Make sets out of sight of road if you can. Helps cut down people shootin your hides up.
