Dam bamboo cut the dogs up pretty bad, probably going to lay up for this weekend.Don't know what the other buds are gona do.

Got'em out to day after lay'in them up last weekend.Went to a different spot too. Chased a gray fox all morning long threw some more thick ass bamboo patches,that stuff is hardcore!!Then about 10:50am
We were on are way back, turned lose in the same patch we chased the fox and they finaly got one. He was smaller than the other ones lately but pulled some crafty moves in the bamboo that gave the dogs a good run for there money.My female got sliced up pretty good agine

That looks like a blast!! This is probably a stupid question but im going to ask it anyways...What do you do with the coons? I just got a tw a year and half ago and trained him for mt lions, but havent even thought of coons..but it looks like it would be a lot of fun for me and the dog.

It sure is a blast. Lot of times you have get involved with the hunt which makes it fun.Can't wait for the swamps to open today's the last day for the duck hunter's besides a cuple more weeks of junior stuff then its all ours baby!!!!!!!!!

Nice pictures and I like scabbard on the side of the bike. Do you just use the bikes get to into the woods and get off and follow the dogs, or is it kind of open so you can follow the dogs on the bikes.

We are actually out at the swamp where all the roads are closed to vehicle traffic, so we have pedal around on these things!!!

Now that's modern day huntin!!! With all the road closures around the west, improvising is the master of success. Great pics. I love when the dogs are so worn out, they don't give a crap about the dead coons!! Tired dogs are good dogs. Keep it coming, radar.

Thanks cobalt and houndnem. We've been real happy with coons over the past few months, they must have feed up good in the off season cuz they'er pretty healthy this year.And cobalt your sure are right, them dogs went on a long bike ride that day, hopefuly they'll stop winening every time ya walk towards the door or start up the toyota!!!!but that only last for a cuple day's,then there all fired up agine....

Had a war in the weeds yesterday....finally. My dog is 35 days pregnant. I guess her pups have already caught their first coon..haha.

you gotta fill me in on this bike hunting. How do you get the dogs out with you on a bike? We lead our dogs back to the truck. I gotta try this!

Man you guys must have some great places to hunt. We go out on a weekend around here and might see more hunters then coon. Have a few spots my friend and I hit we do all right. Last outing we treed about 5 or 6 cant remember for sure. Shot 2 out for the dogs. Trying to get my friends pup trained. Thats always fun. ANyway keep up the good work, so to speak looks like fun.

hell over in eastern wa you might see 20 coons and 0 hunters but you have to know where to go. they are all along the river in the desert and rocks very few trees. come on over to the eastside and we will go out sometime.
