Plott Dogs

I was talking to an old buddy of mine today and he was telling me about the old original strain of plotts that use to be around. I'm not a big plott guy, but do like the ones my that my friend I was talking to use to hunt. He mentioned cascade plotts, pioneer plotts, and a couple others I had never heard of. I'm a little stupid about plott stuff so I would like some info on some of the good plott blood from 20-30 years ago, and would like to know if if there is any of the old cascade or pioneer plotts around or some of the original Brandenburgher dogs, I really liked the ones that I hunted but all of my buddys dogs are dead and gone, so I'd like to see if there's something close to that blood around.
