Dogs got it done 3-4-10

Post by jkcasey »

Had the day off couldn't think of a reason not to let the dogs go, the honey do list just had to wait. Image This is Joe my main dog. He's a 1/4 cat 3/4 bluetick from Bill Brockman ( Bronco Billy). Image This is Twisted Sister she's a (stay with me here) 1/2 jagd 1/4 ridgeback 1/8 cat 1/8 plott also from Bill's stock Image This is the result of this mornings hunt. The dogs worked this track for about 5 min before baying this 130 lbs sow. It wouldn't have taken that log but the dogs were in the process of deflating 10 lbs footballs before they bayed the sow. She would have went this a.m. but she's still acting swollen. I tried to call you but you were screening you calls. I would love to go but I have to work straight thru till next friday, but when I get back from Texas there's no reason me and you can't take all our fresh dogs out and give them deer around here a run for their money. Thanks buddy talk at you later, Kiel

Dan, me too. It seems some times the stars aline and you you get the best of every breed in the cross. I bought two pups out of the litter that the jagd cross was in, a male and this female. There wasn't any difference in prey drive or manners. I just liked the fact that the female had the ridge down her back and the male didn't, it just looks pretty cool. Later Kiel

Kiel--my phone doesn't work right now. I'm in Az running the fresh off of these dogs and a stinking bronk colt.

Knowing you you are probably giving that colt too much rein and letting him do what ever he wants (my eye). Give me a call when you get back and tell me some stories. I'll be day dreaming about dogs and critters while I'm working with all those wires for the next 6 days. When I get back from Texas maybe I'll have a story or 2 for you. Have fun. Later Kiel
