Because your blood goes back to old US blood, some outcrosses would be very interesting.

The idea of selling small cat hunts might work, what are the export regulations on all small cat hides?

With our lynx in the East Cape, no restrictions.African wild cat is restricted though.You can hunt them but we might struggle to get an export permit for them.Serval can be hunted in Zululand Natal and permits are available.

I can work a package for hunters that can come for minimum 7 days hunting which is all inclusive irrespective of the amount of Lynx that are taken.The hunt can be extended as well at a day fee per extra day.

I am currently offering a Lynx hunt 7 days including the cat for US$ 2100.00 this includes hound team, transportation etc, + pred calling at night for other critters.That includes full board and lodging ( all meals and beverages ).Airport pickup and return.For those interested there are about 7 antelope species that can be hunted within the area we hunt lynx - trophy prices are extra.Ideally I want two hunters on this kind of hunt , total excluding extra antelope species US$ 4200.00 .

If you can organise two hunters you can join them and that will not cost you except your flight over with them.

English Pointers
I am a first time member of BGH and am looking for advice on hound selection.
I currently hunt Greywing franclin over English Pointers which I have bred from a consistant line of hunting dogs.
Jackal kills on lambs and sheep have escalated hugely in our area and I have been asked to breed and train jackal hunting dogs.
My question is !!!!!!
Can I use my English Pointers who have fab noses to breed a new line of jackal hunting dogs.
I am looking for comments from hunters with experiance good or bad of English Pointers hunting medium preditors

It would be good if someone could come by and give some of the prune heads here on the site some insight as to our opperation. Look's like some guy's are doubtfull as to if I even own hounds or not. Be nice if someone could verify that.
