Bobcats treeing at night?

Post by brookj »

I once heard that I bobcat doesn't tree very well at night. That they will keep jumping out or just keep running till daylight. Is there any truth to this???

bobcat will jump however most of the time if they tree in a thick tree they will be in that tree out on a limb r in the thickest part they can find. bobs don't like to look at lights so as you go into the tree keep your lighs on the ground and cover them so you have very little light showing. bobs r funny critters to hunt and it takes more gritt to wait them out than a coon r a bear. like the other two replys you got i also lived in Oregon and treed more cats at night than the day.
