Just a pic of my Majestic male...

This male is 26 months old. He is pretty fair on game (not the best one I have ever seen, but no slouch either). He seems to be coming on harder now than ever before. That is kind of odd because a lot of folks don't give a hound that long to show ability. He had a real thing for deer, but I shocked the ever-living bejesus out him a few times and he has (so far anyway) left them alone. This time of year is bad to let them excercise because they jump fawns all over the place.
He is one hell of a beast (over 115 pounds), and I sure think a lot of him (as anyone who sees my posts could tell you, I'm sure)

Oh I thought you and a Partner had bought one from Bob Blackford ??
Anyway
Well Out of 11 Pups I got 5 Tri Color But these are the only 2 that I believe will Make Majestic Standards The Female in the Second Pic, Out weights/stands/earage ect greater than any Majestic Pup we have ever had at 9 weeks old. She is 4# heavier than any pup we have had.
Huge legs and tight feet to go with it. The first Pic of one of the Males equels a total Majestic Male .. So I will be keeping these 2 for sure..
I Reg. this Litter as NKC "National Coon Hounds" and when they make Majestic Standards Then I will Sgl Reg them as Majestics.
Saltlicks "Pac's-a-Lotto Lip" Male Tri Color 25% Bloodhound and 75% Treeing Walker.

Saltlick's "Queen Kong" Female Tri Color 25% Bloodhound and 75% Treeing Walker.

Duncan your doing the right thing giving that hound all the opportunity. I believe if it shows you progress in some aspect each time you take it out you have to continue to put the time into it.
If you hit a stonewall and the hound is 2 years old it may be time to cut looses
Everyone is different depending on their own kennel situations.....what game are you training him on?
Steve:
your right I did by a pup from Bob but for my partner. She is doing real good so far and is real gamie. Those two pups of yours are both fine looking hounds but that Queen female is an awesome looking
You need to make me a package deal and sell them both to me

That Red majestic male of yours is breathtakingly beautiful.
Steve
I was petting up Kong at Autumn Oaks. He's incredibly sweet-tempered with a head like a watermelon. But Queen Kong there has almost as much weight to her ears as she does to the rest of her head! Really nice looking. Hope her abilities live up to her looks for you!

Emily that Kong is just a joy to be around.. A very jolly fellow !! I had to hold his privets just in line to bred our Female.. He tried so hard to breed her but we ended up helping him. My Wife kept our female lined up as stright as posible then Myself and Kevin (another one of Kongs handlers) would keep Kong in line.. It was a Site to see !! We had driven 7 hours oneway to breed to him and we had to be back for a meeting the next morning so their was no time to waste !!
