Pugface: Maybe I have a Phobia of some type , but always stayed away from feeding chicken bones to the hounds

Right now I`m feeding beef and bones bones ground up. The supplier claims to have added chicken fat but I doubt that there is enough fat. I'm not sure about this yet. I have a friend that has fed whole dead chickens for 20 years and he has the healthiest looking dogs around. I have fed the smaler 2-3 lbs sized ones and found it to be great dog food. Terry

an old timer around here that used to feed chicken bones to his house dogs all the time, we asked him about it and he said as long as they are not dried out and brittle you will be fine.
