THESE FUTURE RUNNERS WILL BE 11 WEEKS ON 11-10-09, I HAVE ONE OF THE RED MALES(NAMED HIM BLUE) AND IF HE IS ANY INDICATION OF WHAT WE HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO THE FUTURE LOOKS VERY GOOD! SINCE ITS GETING COLD AND DARK EARLIER NOW WE LET HIM IN A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK TO WORK ON BASIC COMANDS AND MANNERS, TRAINING ALWAYS NEEDS TO START EARLY. MY DAUGHTER IS AN EXELENT HELPER WHEN IT COMES TO THESE BASICS, IN PART BECAUSE SHE HAS ALOT MORE FREE TIME THAN I DO. IN THE PAST WEEK ITS BECOME APARENT THAT BLUE HAS SOME VERY GOOD TENDENCIES, AS HE HAS BEEN LEARNING ALL THESE NEW "RULES" HE ALSO NOTICED THE TWO RESIDENT HOUSECATS :agmnt (MY WIFES NOT MINE)AND AFTER A COUPLE ENCOUNTERS FOLLOWED BY SOME CALCULATION OF THE SITUATION HE FELL INTO WHAT SHOULD BE HIS PERMANENT PLACE ON HIS HUNTING FAMILY TREE. HE HAS A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN RIGHT NOW, BUT AT 10 WEEKS TO STAND HIS GROUND ON A BAYED UNFAMILIAR "BOXER" I AM IMPRESSED AND LOOK FORWARD TO WHAT SOME TIME, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE HAVE IN STORE FOR BLUE, MY CREW , AND I. I'VE SEEN BOTH PARENTS OF THIS LITTER IN ACTION AND THESE PUPS HAVE GREAT POTENTIAL WITH PROPER HANDLING AND GROUNDWORK. I'VE SEEN GENERATIONS OF BIGOLPLOTT'S DOGS ON GAME AND THEY HAVE IMPRESSED ME WITH THIER ABILITIES FINDING, TRAILING, AND CATCHING GAME. I HAVE TREED AND BAYED LIONS AND BEARS WITH BOTH SIDES OF THIS LINE AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING WHEN BLUE IS BIG ENOUGH TO HIT THE WOODS WITH THE BIG DOGS AND FIGURE OUT WHY HE CANT HELP HIMSELF WHEN THOSE "BOXERS" HISS AND STARTS TO BAY AND HOLD HIS GROUND.

I'll second the things said above Bigolplot! - Very impressed with their looks.

The one that cought my eye is the one behind that young, up and coming houndsman in the last picture. Could be I'm wrong, but I think I can see some light bridling there....

Good luck with them pups,
Hans
